We checked out the Flume Trail today, which is close to downtown, The entrance is blocked by an avalanche that came down in February, but people have made a path over it and the rest of the trail is really nice. It looks like it might take a long time for the avalanche snow to melt since it’s all in the shade. Once we got out on the trail a bit, we could see up in this little valley and were able to spot some mountain goats!
Then this afternoon we walked from our house down to the beach on the Thane road to do some exploring and we saw seals.
